These studies are used to support offshore operation planning, and are highly adaptable to specific Client’s requirements, including but not limited to:
- Spell analysis: investigates the frequency of periods of calm weather, defined by weather limits and calm duration
- Waiting on weather: investigates the total waiting time necessary in order to complete an operation
- Persistance analyisis: investigates the duration (or persistance) of calm or storm conditions
- Workability Analysis: investigates the mean number of workable days per month
- Operability analysis: investigates the probability of completing an operation defined by several combinations of thresholds and durations, including stand by conditions.
Results can be presented in tabulated or graphical formats and can be complemented with percentage exceedance or ocurrence tables, raw time series, rosettes, contour maps, etc
